I’ve recently totally made over my home office space from a bright, bold, orange affair to something a lot more mature and neutral, and once the decoration process was complete, it was time to hunt for those perfect finishing touches…<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Late last year, I set up my own business in social media marketing and becoming self-employed meant permanently working from home, which suited me well, but I knew I needed a space that was a lot more relaxed and calming for those busy days and late nights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Colour wise, I’ve opted for a selection of greys and neutrals, with beautiful wooden accents and to finish off the space. Once the painting brushes were put down and furniture set in place, my next task was sourcing those picture perfect accessories that complimented the scheme I’d created.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was delighted when Hudson Valley Lighting Group<\/a> got in touch to see if I’d like to sample any of their products for the new space. For my home office, I opted for the Bayside Table Lamp<\/a> in Aged Brass because I was instantly drawn to the mix of textures and shapes. The brass paired with the glass base makes for such an interesting contrast, and the mix of domes and curves makes the lamp feel super modern yet somehow futuristic. I love the way it stands out on its own as a signature piece whilst still sitting perfectly with the rest of my office furnishings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
